The legal situation in Cambodia
Polymarket does not geoblock Cambodia, and no action naming it was found. Cambodian citizens are barred from all gambling. Standalone online gambling licences were abolished in 2019-2020, and the 2020 Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling allows online games only inside licensed casinos. In September 2026 the government announced it would suspend even casino-based online gambling from October 2026. Crypto is now licensed under an NBC prakas (December 2024) and SERC Prakas 093 (December 2025).
