The legal situation in Croatia

Polymarket does not geoblock Croatia, and no reports of Croatian action against it were found. Online gambling needs a Ministry of Finance licence under the Act on Games of Chance. Since 2019 the Tax Administration can order unlicensed online gambling domains blocked under Article 44(3) of the General Tax Act and publishes the domain lists. The 2024-2025 reform added advertising bans, a self-exclusion register and payment blocking to blacklisted sites. Crypto providers are authorised by HANFA under MiCA.
