The legal situation in Italy
The ADM first added Polymarket to its list of unauthorised gambling sites in October 2025, then revoked the block in December 2025. It relisted the site on 10 July 2026, with ISPs required to block it by 27 July 2026. The matter was also reportedly referred to Rome prosecutors.
