The legal situation in Mongolia
Polymarket does not geoblock Mongolia, but Mongolian law now targets exactly what Polymarket offers. Amendments to the Law on Licensing, reported in 2025, prohibit all paid prediction, betting and online gambling. They make organising paid prediction or betting games for profit, including online, a criminal offence punishable by up to three years in prison. No ISP block on Polymarket was reported. Crypto is legal under the 2021 Law on Virtual Asset Service Providers, with FRC registration.

What are your options in Mongolia?
If Polymarket or local law restricts this country, the honest answer is: don't try to get around it. VPNs and third-party wallets break Polymarket's terms, can get funds frozen and may be illegal locally. Look for prediction markets or exchanges licensed by State Great Khural (Law on Licensing amendments); Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC), and check back here: rules change.
