The legal situation in Spain
On 26 May 2026 the DGOJ opened sanctioning proceedings against Polymarket and Kalshi and ordered both websites blocked as a precautionary measure, because they operated without Spanish gambling licences. The block was described as temporary, lasting three to four months while the proceedings run. No final decision had been published as of mid-September 2026. Polymarket does not itself geoblock Spain.

What are your options in Spain?
If Polymarket or local law restricts this country, the honest answer is: don't try to get around it. VPNs and third-party wallets break Polymarket's terms, can get funds frozen and may be illegal locally. Look for prediction markets or exchanges licensed by Dirección General de Ordenación del Juego (DGOJ), and check back here: rules change.
